Location: Lancaster, PA

Start Date: 05-02-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 7-hour shifts (exact start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed), CNA

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and daily living assistance
Assist with bathing, dressing, mobility and meals while preserving dignity
Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and yourself
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Document care accurately and promptly in the patient record
Help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
Valid state registration or certification as required (PA credentials preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and required health screenings
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with clinical staff

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care and activities of daily living
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
Good observation skills and the ability to escalate concerns promptly
Strong customer service and communication skills
Teamwork mindset and adaptability in a busy healthcare setting
