Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg unit
Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and progress
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
Prioritize tasks effectively to maintain high-quality patient outcomes and unit flow

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Georgia
Current BLS certification; ACLS and other specialty certifications encouraged or preferred
Med/Surg experience (unit experience will help you hit the ground running)
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid Med/Surg nursing knowledge and patient assessment skills
Medication administration and IV therapy competence
Proficient clinical documentation and charting skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to changing patient needs
