Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding)
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and resident status
Support mobility and safe transfers, using proper body mechanics
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and team
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality care
Build trusting relationships with residents and support their emotional needs

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Pennsylvania) — required
CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience as a CNA is a plus but caring attitude and strong work ethic matter most
Ability to pass background checks and any required health screenings

Education

CNA certification (state-approved program); high school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fundamentals in personal care and ADLs
Accurate vital sign measurement and observational skills
Clear communication and teamwork abilities
Basic charting and documentation skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
Compassion, patience, and a resident-centered mindset
