Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients under CNA scope
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and ambulation
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
Active basic healthcare training; facility may require TB screening and immunizations
Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
Previous experience in long 12-hour shifts is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
Skilled in safe patient handling and mobility support
Comfortable with charting and following care plans
Good observational skills to recognize and report patient changes
Reliable time management and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
