Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Support the nursing team with safe transfers and positioning
Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for every person in your care
Communicate changes in patient condition clearly to nurses and supervisors
Document care activities and observations in the patient chart

Qualifications

Current CNA certification; Pennsylvania certification preferred
CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and safe patient transfers
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with ADLs and mobility assistance techniques
Basic charting and documentation skills
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and report changes promptly
