Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound exams across a variety of patient populations using GE equipment
• Operate imaging systems and document procedures accurately in Meditech to support patient care
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical teams to ensure timely, patient-centered imaging services
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while following unit policies and infection control practices
• Assist with departmental workflow and adapt to rotating shifts and weekend coverage with a can-do attitude

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification required for ultrasound modalities
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year sonography/ultrasound experience required; 2 years preferred
• Familiarity with GE imaging systems and Meditech EMR highly desirable
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends for this travel assignment
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in diagnostic ultrasound techniques and protocols
• Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and image acquisition
• Experience with GE ultrasound systems and image optimization
• Ability to document and chart in Meditech or similar EMR systems
• Teamwork, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills in a fast-paced imaging department
