Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents while preserving dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Document patient care accurately and timely to support continuity of care
Collaborate with nurses and allied health staff to achieve positive patient outcomes
Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Ability to pass facility background checks and required screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care practices and ADL assistance
Familiarity with charting and basic documentation
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
Teamwork mindset with good interpersonal skills
Understanding of infection prevention and patient safety principles
Ability to follow care plans and direction from licensed nursing staff
