Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate patient care consistent with LPN scope of practice
Administer medications and treatments as directed and document accurately
Monitor patient status, take and record vital signs, and report changes promptly
Collaborate with RNs, physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
Maintain clear, timely charting in the patient record and ensure documentation integrity
Support safe admissions, discharges and transfers with attention to patient comfort
Follow infection control, safety protocols and facility policies at all times

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license (Georgia preferred) — must be in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts and providing hands-on nursing care
Strong communication and teamwork skills; dependable and patient-centered
Previous experience in hospital or long-term care settings is a plus

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with vital sign assessment, medication administration and basic wound care
Ability to recognize and escalate changes in patient condition
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting practices
Good clinical judgment, time management and prioritization skills
Strong interpersonal skills for patient and family communication
