Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to create a safe care environment
Support a clean, safe, and welcoming facility for residents and visitors

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Demonstrated compassion, strong communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to perform physical duties of the role, including safe lifting and patient transfers
Clear background and health screenings as required by facility policy

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
Infection control and safe hygiene practices
Effective verbal and written communication with patients and team members
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
