Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to care
Collaborate with the care team to develop and update individualized care plans
Communicate clearly with patients and families to educate and support
Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and shift reports
Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Georgia (required)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable administering medications and performing routine nursing procedures
Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliable and patient-focused
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN program or equivalent practical nursing education

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic patient assessment and vital sign interpretation
Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Infection control and safety procedures
Time management and prioritization during long shifts
Empathy, de-escalation skills, and clear patient communication
