Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging exams across modalities (X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine) with attention to image quality and patient comfort
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment safely and efficiently to support rapid, accurate diagnoses
• Position and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring dignity, comfort, and radiation safety at all times
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and care teams to prioritize urgent studies and communicate critical findings
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the imaging system and adhere to departmental protocols
• Follow infection control and safety policies, including proper use of shielding and radiation monitoring
• Support cross-modality imaging needs and assist with procedures such as fluoroscopy and digital mammography as required

Qualifications

• Current ARRT RT(R) credential required upon submission
• Current, unencumbered Oregon Radiologic Technology license required
• Healthcare Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred — you’ll hit the ground running if you have it
• Comfortable working night shifts and weekend schedules
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced clinical environments

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiography / X-Ray expertise
• Fluoroscopy operation and safety
• CT imaging knowledge
• MRI basics and safety awareness
• Digital mammography experience
• Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT familiarity
• Ultrasound fundamentals
• Strong patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality skills
• Good communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
