Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine studies (stress, lung, bone, GI bleeding, thyroid, lymphoscintigraphy) accurately and compassionately
• Operate and maintain GE Discovery imaging equipment following safety and quality protocols
• Document exams and results in Meditech and PACS in a timely, organized way
• Manage patient transport and in-patient imaging needs while maintaining patient dignity and safety
• Work independently as the primary technologist on shift, prioritizing tasks and patient flow
• Collaborate with radiology and clinical teams to ensure clear communication and excellent patient care
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain accurate records for regulatory compliance
• Adapt to changing schedules and caseloads while keeping a calm, patient-centered approach

Qualifications

• BLS (required)
• ARRT (NM) or CNMT certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years nuclear medicine technologist experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently in a small-staff environment
• Experience with GE Discovery equipment, Meditech and PACS is highly desirable
• Familiarity with Nuctrac and common NM procedures (stress, lung, bone, thyroid, lymphoscintigraphy)

Education

• ARRT (NM) or CNMT certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
