Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and mobility while following proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
Document resident care and observations in the appropriate records promptly
Collaborate with nursing staff and families to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (or eligible) — ability to work in Pennsylvania required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated experience in long-term care or similar healthcare settings is a plus
Clear background check and immunizations per facility policy
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
Ability to follow care plans and accurately document care
Teamwork, time management, and respectful resident communication
