Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care with dignity — bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance
Support safe mobility and transfers to promote independence
Monitor and record vital signs and share changes with the nursing team
Assist in implementing care plans and daily routines that improve quality of life
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow infection-control practices
Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or eligible to obtain) — Pennsylvania registration preferred
Up-to-date BLS/CPR certification as required by facility
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills, compassion, and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Successful completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Proven skills in activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient hygiene
Basic vital sign measurement and observation of patient condition
Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Clear documentation practices and effective teamwork
Comfort working in a fast-paced long-term care environment
