Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
Measure and record vital signs and report changes promptly
Support mobility and safe transfers while following care plans
Document care accurately and communicate clearly with the nursing team
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families to enhance wellbeing

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus
Compassionate, reliable, and able to work collaboratively with a team
Ability to pass background checks and health screening per facility policy
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient care and activities of daily living
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Strong verbal communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
Ability to follow care plans and directions from licensed nurses
Attention to detail and good time management during shifts
