Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with daily living activities
Monitor patients and accurately report changes in condition to nursing staff
Perform timely documentation and maintain accurate patient records
Assist with transfers, ambulation, and basic mobility to promote patient safety
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Collaborate with the care team to support patient-centered goals and comfort

Qualifications

Current and active CNA certification in the state of California
Previous experience as a CNA preferred but new grads with strong skills considered
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
Ability to work overnight shifts and provide reliable per diem coverage
Clear background check and drug screening as required by facility

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and bedside skills
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Comfortable with electronic charting and basic documentation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm in fast-paced clinical situations
Basic knowledge of patient mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
