Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
Assist nursing staff with vital signs, documentation, and routine observations
Support safe patient transfers and use appropriate lifting techniques
Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for patients
Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the care team
Build trusting relationships with patients and families through respectful interactions

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in the state of California
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
Background check and drug screening clearance as required
Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting preferred but new grads welcome

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: ADLs, vital signs, infection control practices
Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Compassionate bedside manner and patient-first attitude
