Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Herrin: Sunday & Monday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day); MHC: Tuesday & Thursday, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Day/Evening); MHC: Friday, 12:00 PM - 9:30 PM (Evening). On-call: Every third Monday night, 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM (Night). Schedule consists of four 8-hour shifts and one 9-hour shift weekly, plus on-call rotation.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality vascular and general ultrasound exams with attention to diagnostic image quality and patient comfort
- Document exam findings and clinical notes accurately and promptly in Epic
- Provide OB ultrasound services at the facility when needed, demonstrating versatility
- Respond to on-call requests as scheduled, delivering timely and professional patient care during night coverage
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, following safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist credential (role-specific certification or credential)
- Vascular certification required
- Comfortable and experienced with Epic documentation
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation (every third Monday night)
- Experience performing OB ultrasound is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven ability to acquire diagnostic-quality vascular ultrasound images
- Familiarity with OB ultrasound protocols and best practices
- Strong Epic charting and electronic documentation skills
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
- Team-oriented approach and ability to collaborate across departments
- Basic equipment care and troubleshooting skills
