Registered Nurse - LTAC/Telemetry
Location: Fayetteville, NC
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating shifts including every-other weekend; specific start/end times vary by assignment (day, evening, or night rotations depending on unit needs)
Candidate Pay Rate: $52.42 - $52.42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality LTAC and telemetry nursing care to a medically complex patient population
- Continuously monitor cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and carry out individualized care plans
- Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic so patient records are complete and communication is clear
- Support patient transitions of care, including coordination with families and other care providers
- Adapt to unit needs by floating to like units as requested while maintaining scope of practice
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in the assignment state (pending licenses are not accepted)
- LTAC and telemetry experience required; comfortable caring for medically complex patients on telemetry
- Experience with Epic charting (documented in the job details)
- Ability to work every-other-weekend as part of the schedule
- Willingness to float between like units to support facility needs
- First-time travel nurses are not accepted for this assignment
- Ability to provide interview availability upon submission
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) and active RN licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong telemetry monitoring skills and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Deep understanding of long-term acute care patient needs and care coordination
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record workflows
- Excellent clinical judgment, prioritization, and time management
- Clear communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff and patients families
