Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications, treatments, and wound care accurately and safely
• Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report changes to the care team
• Document assessments and care in the electronic medical record with attention to detail
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other clinicians to build patient-centered care plans
• Support patient and family education, helping them understand care plans and recovery goals
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control and facility protocols

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license (New Mexico) — T-LPN candidates considered
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working 12+ hour night shifts and functioning in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Willingness to complete required onboarding for a travel assignment

Education

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited LPN / practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic pharmacology
• Proficiency in wound care, ADL support, and patient assessment
• Familiarity with charting and electronic medical records
• Infection control practices and safety-minded care delivery
• Effective patient and family communication, with empathy and clarity
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work well on an interdisciplinary team
