Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts, alternating 4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the next (48 hrs one week, 36 hrs the next), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, schedule covers all days of the week including weekends
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care across medical-surgical and long-term care settings
- Assess patient condition, administer medications, and document clinical observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
- Advocate for patient needs and ensure continuity of care during shift handoffs
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license—North Carolina RN license or valid compact RN licensure
- Current BLS required; ACLS and other certifications preferred if applicable to unit
- Travel nursing experience a plus, ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a diverse care team
- Immunizations and background checks completed per facility requirements
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Medication administration and IV therapy competency
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting practices
- Time management and ability to prioritize in fast-paced settings
- Compassionate bedside manner and patient-centered approach
