Location: Westbrook, ME
Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift). Days of week: to be scheduled by the facility (not specified in posting).
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Assist residents with safe transfers and mobility using proper techniques
- Support residents' emotional well-being and promote dignity and respect
- Document care clearly and communicate effectively with nurses, families, and the care team
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant). Facility prefers state certification applicable to Maine
- Experience working directly with patients or residents in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Provide hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Effective communication with residents, families, and care teams
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care environment
