Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents as an LPN and be a dependable part of the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately according to facility protocols
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support person-centered care plans
• Monitor patient status, report changes promptly, and participate in care planning to improve outcomes
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers with professionalism and clear communication
• Serve as a positive ambassador for the facility — engage families and help create a warm environment

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (ability to hold/obtain NC licensure preferred)
• Comfortable working a rotating 4-on/3-off 12-hour pattern as described in the assignment notes
• Demonstrated clinical competency in basic nursing skills and medication administration
• Strong communication skills, teamwork mindset, and a patient-first attitude

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and active LPN credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of LPN scope of practice and nursing fundamentals
• Skillful medication preparation and administration with accurate charting
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, wound care basics, and ADL assistance
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond calmly in clinical situations
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
