Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to assigned residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Document care clearly and timely in the patient record to support continuity
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to plan and coordinate care
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up
• Maintain infection control standards and a safe care environment
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers smoothly and professionally

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license (able to practice as Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to start
• Availability for the 13-week travel contract from 2026-02-02 to 2026-04-27
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar clinical setting preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (for LPN) or an accredited Associate/Bachelor of Science in Nursing program (for RN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Wound care basics and infection control practices
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation and charting
• Prioritization and time management for busy shift environments
• Patient- and family-centered communication and education
