Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care and monitor patient status throughout the shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care in the medical record
• Perform thorough assessments and promptly communicate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control and facility protocols
• Support continuity of care during shift handoffs with clear, concise documentation

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential (per job class)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent
• Clinical experience in acute or long-term care settings preferred
• Reliable professional references and a commitment to patient-centered care
• Ability to pass facility-required screenings and background checks

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or nursing program (LPN diploma, ASN, or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Medication administration and accurate documentation practices
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and charting
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
