Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
• Support mealtime routines and ensure residents receive necessary dietary assistance
• Document care accurately and timely to maintain high standards of resident records
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to promote resident well-being
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and families

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — required
• Travel Licensed Nursing Assistant (T-LNA) credential — preferred/recognized for travel assignments
• Comfortable working the evening shift with dependable attendance and professional attitude
• Experience in long-term care or similar healthcare settings is a plus
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team

Education

• Completion of an approved LNA training program or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant tasks and safe resident handling techniques
• Ability to observe, recognize, and report changes in resident status
• Familiarity with charting and documentation best practices
• Good interpersonal skills for positive interactions with residents and families
• Time management and organization to handle assigned residents during the shift
• Comfort with infection control procedures and facility safety protocols
