Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (four 10-hour days) Day
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound studies, including complete venous insufficiency exams
- Operate and optimize duplex ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images and measurements
- Assist providers during thermal, chemical, and foam venous ablation procedures as needed
- Document exam findings clearly and timely in the medical record
- Ensure patient safety and comfort through compassionate care and good communication
- Maintain ultrasound equipment, supplies, and quality assurance records
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary vein treatment team to support excellent patient outcomes
- Provide patient education about procedures, prep, and follow-up instructions
Qualifications
- RVT or RVS credential required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Vein Treatment Program
- Proven experience performing complete Venous Insufficiency Exams
- Hands-on experience with Thermal, Chemical, and Foam Venous Ablations
- Comfortable working a 6:30 AM start time and a four 10-hour day schedule
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Education
- Completion of an accredited vascular ultrasound or diagnostic medical sonography program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Thorough knowledge of vascular anatomy and duplex ultrasound physics
- Skill in venous mapping and interpreting waveform and Doppler findings
- Experience with venous ablation workflows and intra-procedural imaging support
- Proficient patient positioning, scanning technique, and image optimization
- Familiarity with sterile technique, procedural room protocols, and safety
- Clear documentation and electronic medical record navigation
- Ability to collaborate with physicians and allied health staff
