Shift Type: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (days may vary; schedule to be confirmed)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the care team
- Support safe mobility, transfers, and fall prevention for residents
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
- Follow infection control protocols to keep residents and staff safe
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- State CNA listing or ability to become listed in Maine
- Comfortable with direct patient care, transfers, and basic clinical tasks
- Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding, background check, and any health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- Completion of an approved CNA training program; high school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, toileting, feeding support
- Understanding of infection control and safe patient handling
- Ability to document care clearly and follow care plans
- Good observational skills and the ability to escalate concerns appropriately
- Friendly bedside manner and strong teamwork skills
