Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assisting with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly to nursing staff
- Assist with feeding, repositioning and transfers while maintaining dignity and safety
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and resident interactions
- Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures
- Communicate empathetically with residents and family members to support person-centered care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to help create and follow individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-certified)
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation to Westbrook, ME
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited/state-approved CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Vital signs monitoring and basic charting
- Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
- Observation and reporting of resident condition changes
- Teamwork, time management, and strong interpersonal skills
