Shift Type: Days: To be determined, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Night shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Support patient mobility and transfers with safe body mechanics and transfer equipment
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with feeding, toileting, and comfort measures to enhance patient dignity
- Perform routine documentation of care and maintain accurate records
- Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe patient environment
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Active/state-appropriate CNA certification for practice in Maine (or ability to obtain)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control principles
- Skill in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Comfortable with documentation and basic charting practices
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members
- Ability to follow care plans and take direction from nursing staff
