Shift Type: As scheduled (days vary), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to geriatric residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs, observations, and behavioral changes accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention to keep residents safe
- Follow individualized care plans and communicate changes to the nursing team
- Support residents during meals, personal hygiene, and daily routines with dignity
- Maintain clean, safe environments and adhere to infection control practices
- Document care and report concerns promptly to ensure continuity and quality of care
Qualifications
- GNA certification required or equivalent state-recognized credential
- Eligibility for Maryland state registry preferred or required
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and required immunizations
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic bedside manner
- Comfort working overnight shifts and as part of a team
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Geriatric Nursing Assistant program or equivalent certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic resident care
- Knowledge of vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
- Familiarity with safe patient handling and mobility assistance
- Comfortable with documentation and basic electronic health record entries
- Understanding of infection control standards and PPE use
- Teamwork, time management, and clear resident-centered communication
