Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct nursing care to residents at Harbor Hill Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and report changes promptly
• Collaborate with nursing team and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure smooth transitions
• Educate residents and families about care plans and promote comfort and dignity

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (Maine license preferred or compact/eligible as applicable)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
• Prior clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or related setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements (background check, immunizations) as required

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN) — or equivalent as required by licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic charting and care documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care environment
