Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with the Maine Board of Nursing and hospital policies
- Monitor and manage telemetry patients, interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding promptly
- Deliver direct care with compassion and clinical accuracy, including medication administration and patient assessments
- Serve as a clinical resource during your shift and perform charge duties when assigned
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, effective care plans
- Document patient care clearly and timely to support continuity and safety
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure excellent patient experiences
- Demonstrate flexibility with hours and assignments to meet patient and unit needs
Qualifications
- Current Maine RN license required
- BLS and ACLS required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team player attitude with professional clinical judgment and reliability
Education
- Current Maine RN license (required)

Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
- Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
- Clinical supervision and charge nurse responsibilities when assigned
- Clear, compassionate patient and family communication
- Ability to follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Strong multitasking and time management in busy clinical settings
