Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with the Maine Board of Nursing and hospital policies
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients, interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding promptly
• Deliver direct care with compassion and clinical accuracy, including medication administration and patient assessments
• Serve as a clinical resource during your shift and perform charge duties when assigned
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, effective care plans
• Document patient care clearly and timely to support continuity and safety
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure excellent patient experiences
• Demonstrate flexibility with hours and assignments to meet patient and unit needs

Qualifications

• Current Maine RN license required
• BLS and ACLS required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team player attitude with professional clinical judgment and reliability

Education

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making

• Ability to follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Strong multitasking and time management in busy clinical settings
