Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate posture, gait, balance, coordination and strength to build individualized treatment plans
- Develop and implement therapy programs that restore mobility and promote independence
- Lead, guide and direct the delivery of physical therapy services in compliance with local, state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with nursing, rehab staff and families to ensure cohesive care plans
- Document progress, update care plans and communicate outcomes to the interdisciplinary team
- Educate residents and caregivers on safe mobility techniques and home exercise programs
- Ensure skilled nursing/long-term care compliance and quality standards are consistently met
Qualifications
- Valid, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state of Missouri (or Compact allowed per job posting)
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience (required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license in the state of employment
- LTC or rehab experience (preferred)
- Comfort leading therapy services and providing oversight in a long-term care setting
Education
- Meets educational requirements for state licensure (e.g., accredited Physical Therapy degree such as DPT or equivalent required for licensure)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment skills including gait analysis, balance and coordination evaluation
- Skilled in treatment planning and strength assessment to restore function
- Knowledgeable of skilled nursing/long-term care regulations, procedures and best practices
- Ability to lead service delivery and mentor therapy staff
- Good communication and documentation skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
