Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in an acute/clinical setting
• Assess patients’ conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with provider orders
• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Document patient care thoroughly and timely in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, medications, and discharge plans
• Respond to changes in patient status quickly and escalate concerns when needed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help maintain a safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact RN privilege as applicable
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred or obtained shortly after start
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and teamwork mindset
• Previous acute care or hospital experience preferred but motivated new grads with solid clinical skills are welcome to apply

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and wound care
• Comfortable using electronic medical record systems and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient/family education and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Knowledge of infection control standards, safety protocols, and healthcare regulations
