Shift Type: 4x10 Day shift, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (block schedule). Days vary within block scheduling; includes weekly on-call rotation and required weekend call coverage. Orientation: 40 hours.

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality pediatric and adult transthoracic echocardiograms, including routine studies and complex anomaly scanning
- Execute specialized studies as needed (3-D echo, contrast imaging, stress echo, TEE support) with safety and precision
- Document all exams accurately and promptly in Epic and store images in PACS
- Provide dependable on-call and weekend coverage to support urgent pediatric echo needs
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to support excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain equipment readiness and follow infection control and pediatric care protocols
- Adapt to outpatient and inpatient workflows across clinic and acute care settings
Qualifications
- RDCS-Adult or CCI RCS (one or the other is required)
- Pediatric echocardiography experience — this is required
- Minimum 2 years echocardiography experience
- Active Oregon state license
- BLS required; CCI RCS or RDCS-Adult preferred
- Hospital experience — hard stop requirement
- Comfortable with on-call and weekend coverage
- Familiarity with Epic charting and PACS workflow
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong pediatric echo skills, including neonatal/NICU experience and scanning of complex anomalies
- Proficient with transthoracic echo, 3-D echo, M-mode, and contrast imaging
- Experience or exposure to transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and stress echo protocols
- Comfortable performing portable studies and bubble studies when indicated
- Familiarity with PACS image management and Philips ultrasound systems
- Skilled at clear documentation in Epic and effective communication with clinical teams
- Ability to maintain high-quality imaging under varying clinical conditions (outpatient and acute care)
