Roles & Responsibilities

• Position patients and apply immobilization devices to obtain optimal diagnostic views
• Perform routine diagnostic CT and X‑ray procedures with accuracy and care
• Operate and adjust radiographic, fluoroscopic and portable imaging equipment
• Run imaging in the OR, emergency room or at bedside using mobile/portable units
• Use OR C-arm confidently for intraoperative imaging
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
• Process and manage imaging data and film processing workflows
• Prioritize and organize daily workload to keep the department flowing smoothly
• Communicate clearly with patients and interdisciplinary teams and document care thoroughly

Qualifications

• 2+ years current CT / X‑Ray technologist experience in a hospital setting (required)
• Active ARRT registration (required)
• Active American Heart Association BLS (required)
• New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License, or ability to obtain NH MIRT with equivalent state license (required)
• Proven proficiency with Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portable Radiography and OR C‑arm (required)
• Experience imaging all age groups (peds through geriatrics) (required)
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Traveler must have own reliable vehicle for this assignment
• Applicants who reside within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered for this local-travel need
• Provide permanent address and any requested time-off at profile submission

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient positioning best practices and safe immobilization
• Radiation protection principles and ALARA practices
• Operation of CT, X‑ray, fluoroscopy and mobile imaging equipment
• Digital radiography workflows and image acquisition
• Film processing and image quality control
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills for documentation and image systems
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment
