Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Take and document vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility, keeping residents comfortable and secure
• Follow care plans and communicate observations clearly to ensure continuity of care
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification for NH/VT (state-required)
• Weekend availability (every other weekend required) and willingness to pick up overtime when available
• Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification as required by facility (if not, willingness to obtain)
• Reliable, professional, and able to work well as part of a multidisciplinary care team
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to complete facility onboarding requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; LNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and resident hygiene
• Comfortable taking vitals, charting, and following care plans
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a resident-first mindset
• Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during a busy day shift
