Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care including ventilator management and airway support
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized respiratory treatment plans
• Administer respiratory therapies and monitor patient response, adjusting care as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in skills verification and competency checks such as Trinity Skills Checklist

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license (license/certificate verification required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to pass required health screening: fit test, drug screen, and immunization checks
• Compliance with required vaccinations and tests: COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, and PPD/IGRA
• Comfort and experience working 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekend schedules

Education

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent clinical training (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of ventilator modes, airway management, and respiratory pharmacology
• Skill in arterial blood gas interpretation and bedside respiratory assessment
• Familiarity with infection control practices and critical care monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced clinical settings
• Competence with skills checklists and clinical competency documentation
