Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to ICU patients, applying sound clinical judgment every shift
• Monitor, assess and document patient status and respond promptly to changes
• Manage advanced ICU equipment including ventilators and hemodynamic monitors
• Lead and coordinate patient care during emergencies and rapid response situations
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and multidisciplinary team members for excellent outcomes
• Float to Medical-Surgical when needed, adapting your skills to support the unit
• Participate in 24-hour call rotations and ensure continuity of care during handoffs

Qualifications

• Current ICU nurse with recent ICU clinical experience (must be an ICU RN)
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical as needed
• Ability and availability to take scheduled 24-hour call shifts
• Meditech 6.0 experience preferred
• Comfort working night shifts and in a fast-paced critical care environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Proficiency with ventilator care and advanced cardiac monitoring
• Effective communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
• Experience with Meditech 6.0 EMR is a plus
• Ability to triage, prioritize and respond during emergencies
• Flexibility to float and cover additional units when required
