Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients at Genesis - Mid-America & SE Region
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document changes accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely following facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Support clinical quality initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license (eligible for Pennsylvania license or compact RN where applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Previous acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment and clinical documentation
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and charting best practices
• Skilled in medication administration and safe IV therapy practices
• Effective team collaboration and clear communication with patients and staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
