Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients in the rehabilitation center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor clinical changes
• Document patient care clearly and promptly in the facility charting system
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
• Support patient and family education to promote recovery and independence
• Escalate clinical concerns appropriately to ensure excellent outcomes

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license (licensed in or eligible for New Mexico)
• Comfortable working scheduled shifts: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Current Basic Life Support certification preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced rehab setting
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• LPN: Vocational nursing diploma or equivalent
• RN: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and documentation best practices
• Medication administration and basic wound care
• Familiarity with electronic health record charting
• Infection prevention and control procedures
• Effective communication with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and prioritization during extended shifts
