Shift Type: Rotating day shifts — primarily 3x12-hour day shifts (07:30 AM - 08:00 PM). Schedule may include 8- and 10-hour day shifts as needed; weekends required. Expect variable additional shifts and occasional optional overtime; final schedule provided in advance.

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography and X-ray exams with accuracy and care
• Position patients for routine and trauma imaging while prioritizing safety
• Use GE imaging equipment confidently (Siemens familiarity a plus)
• Document exams and chart accurately in EPIC to support continuity of care
• Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards at all times
• Work independently to manage patient flow and provide limited orientation to students and peers
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure timely, compassionate patient experiences

Qualifications

• Active Washington state radiologic technologist license (WA LIC) required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of radiography experience required (1 year considered)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Comfortable working independently and in a teaching environment with students shadowing
• Weekend availability required

Knowledge & Skills

• Diagnostic radiography / X-ray positioning for adult and pediatric patients
• Patient positioning for trauma and routine exams (upper/lower extremity, spine, chest, abdomen)
• Radiation safety principles and safe equipment operation
• Infection prevention and isolation precautions
• Proficiency with GE imaging equipment; Siemens experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to orient/mentor students
