Shift Type: Typically 4x10 day shifts, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM (Day); schedule set in advance but variable — may include 8-, 10- or 12-hour day shifts and required weekend coverage. (Rotating/variable day schedule with weekend coverage)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams using GE equipment and follow department protocols
- Position patients accurately and compassionately for a wide range of studies (extremities, chest, spine, abdomen/GI, trauma)
- Chart exams and patient information thoroughly in EPIC to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention best practices for patients and staff
- Work independently in an outpatient walk-in setting and prioritize patient flow during busy periods
- Collaborate with clinical teams and provide clear communication to patients and providers
- Mentor and supervise students in this teaching site while fostering a positive learning environment
- Adapt to variable schedules and step in for weekend coverage as required
Qualifications
- Active WA state radiologic technologist license required (pending licenses not accepted)
- ARRT (R) registration required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of radiography experience required (1 year considered in some cases); first-time travelers accepted
- Comfortable and experienced with GE imaging equipment (Siemens experience a plus)
- Proficiency with EPIC charting required
- Ability to work independently in an outpatient, teaching-site environment and to support student learners
- Willingness to complete a brief orientation (approximately 12 hours) on arrival
Knowledge & Skills
- Radiography and patient positioning across a broad scope: upper/lower extremities, chest, spine, pelvis, abdomen/GI, trauma imaging
- Radiation safety practices and infection prevention / isolation precautions
- EPIC electronic charting and clinical documentation
- Experience operating GE imaging systems (Siemens familiarity helpful)
- Strong patient communication, time management, and prioritization skills
- Comfort supervising and teaching students in a clinical setting
