Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess communication and swallowing function using evidence-based evaluation tools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote functional progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab team members to coordinate patient-centered care
- Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and on time
- Provide caregiver and family education to support carryover and safe discharge plans
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligible to obtain)
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or equivalent clinical certification
- Experience in pediatric, adult, or geriatric rehab settings is a plus
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient-centered care approach
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Education
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assessment and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Familiarity with rehab documentation, progress measurement, and care planning
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with patients and the care team
- Ability to prioritize caseloads and manage time effectively
- Comfort working in a fast-paced skilled nursing/rehab environment
