Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, typically 3 shifts/week (Monday-Friday schedule) with weekend rotation (4 weekends per 4-week schedule); on-call 8-12 days/month with 30-minute response time
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Circulate during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures to ensure patient safety and smooth workflow
- Coordinate with physicians, techs and ancillary services to deliver timely, high-quality care
- Respond to on-call activations within 30 minutes and provide urgent procedural support
- Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and support imaging/charting needs with Xper
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery and post-procedure care
- Serve as charge nurse when scheduled, overseeing unit flow and staffing decisions
- Adhere to sterile technique and cath lab protocols while using Phillips and Siemens equipment
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations to support continuous acute care
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in cath lab or interventional cardiology
- Experience circulating in the cardiac cath lab; techs must be able to scrub
- Familiarity with Cerner and Xper charting systems
- Comfort working in a Level I trauma environment and managing high-volume procedural days
- Ability to respond within a 30-minute window for on-call duties
Education
- Active RN license in Arizona
- BSN preferred but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization, EP lab procedures, peripheral interventions, TAVR and MitraClip
- Skilled in sterile technique, patient monitoring and rapid assessment during procedures
- Experience with Phillips telemetry and Siemens imaging equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced acute settings
- Ability to handle high case volumes and triage effectively during busy shifts
- Familiarity with scrub and circulate roles and coordination with rad techs and CVOR teams
