Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans and X-Ray exams, delivering clear images for accurate diagnoses
- Execute contrast studies safely and competently, following protocols and patient safety guidelines
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment while performing routine quality checks
- Document procedures and patient information accurately in electronic records
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to support patient care
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication before, during, and after procedures
- Participate in shared on-call rotation to support the department when needed
Qualifications
- X-Ray certification and CT certification required — you must be credentialed in both modalities
- Comfortable performing contrast studies and a full range of diagnostic procedures
- Basic computer skills and basic math competency required for documentation and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and patient-safety mindset
- Ability to work well in a team and cover shared on-call responsibilities
Knowledge & Skills
- Computed Tomography (CT) imaging techniques and safety practices
- Radiography (X-Ray) procedures and positioning
- Contrast study protocols and patient monitoring
- Diagnostic imaging best practices and image quality optimization
- Familiarity with basic computer systems and electronic charting
- Basic math skills for dose calculations and measurements
