Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify student needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Provide direct therapy using evidence-based approaches adapted to each student
• Monitor, document, and report student progress clearly and on schedule
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
• Support transitions and work with classroom staff to generalize skills

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
• Washington State SLP license (required) or eligibility to obtain
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
• Experience working with school-age children and caseload management experience valued
• Comfortable with IEP process, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Willingness to complete background check and any district-required onboarding/training

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in standardized and curriculum-based speech and language assessments
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques for articulation, language, fluency, and voice
• Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies to support alternative communication
• Strong IEP writing, progress monitoring, and documentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with families and staff
• Ability to adapt therapy to diverse learners and classroom settings
