Shift Type: Rotating nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12:00-hour night shift; schedule may include weekends)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to acute patients in a busy ED
- Rapidly triage and assess patients, prioritizing interventions for the sickest cases
- Administer medications and treatments safely and in line with protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, techs and support staff to coordinate efficient care
- Document patient assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately in Meditech
- Manage patient assignments consistent with the unit’s 4:1 ratio, ensuring safe care
- Support unit flow during peak volume and assist with critical transfers and discharges
- Share best practices, mentor less experienced staff and contribute to a positive unit culture
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license (required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience (Emergency nursing experience preferred)
- TNCC, ENPC or ALS (preferred)
- Certification such as CEN or PEN is a plus
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and in a fast-paced emergency environment
Education
- Active RN license (required)
- ADN accepted; BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency nursing skills and critical thinking in high-acuity situations
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR for documentation and order management
- Triage, IV therapy, medication administration and ECG recognition
- Excellent communication, teamwork and the ability to prioritize under pressure
- Familiarity with ED equipment and protocols for rapid assessment and stabilization
