Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality direct patient care in a family practice rural health clinic setting
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to coordinate patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications and preventive health
• Support clinic workflows including triage, care planning and follow-up coordination
• Participate in quality improvement efforts and maintain regulatory compliance
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment that meets the needs of a rural community

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact RN licensure as applicable
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS/PALS as required or preferred by site
• Clinical experience in family practice, ambulatory care, or rural health clinics (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a rural clinic setting
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid assessment and triage skills for patients across the lifespan
• Medication administration and clinical documentation proficiency
• Familiarity with ambulatory EMRs and clinic workflows
• Patient education, care coordination and preventive health knowledge
• Comfort working in a rural healthcare environment and connecting patients to local resources
